Press-fit Machine

Press-fit technology, in existence for about three decades, is a method for making solderless connections.

In this technology, component connection pins, particularly from connectors or single contacts, are inserted into the metalized holes of a printed circuit board (PCB). The press-fit pin, which is larger in diagonal than the hole diameter on the PCB, forms a gas-tight contact with the hole wall, ensuring good conductivity. The deformation of both the press-fit pin and the PCB creates a secure, positive connection. This technology stands out for its reliability and effectiveness in establishing electrical connections.
